CDT Day 22 (6/9/23)

Zero miles

Verbatim

Today was my brother’s graduation! It was really fun seeing him celebrated and honored with is classmates. I didn’t realize that residency programs had actual graduations. But I guess they do, and for that I am thankful. I graduated the same year as my brother. And that’s pretty cool.

It’s nice that there are things to celebrate this year. And, it’s nice that we can celebrate them as our own nuclear family. There isn’t another person with an unstable connection trying to participate.

Other than that the day was pretty gentle and normal. My dad’s driving made me nauseous. There were several attractive women at the graduation (Good lord Andrew shut up). I hung out with Eric and my dad until midnight. We ate with Zipe’s family. They are from Zimbabwe originally. it was fun to talk about having spent time there. They live in —— now. I also talked to a Dr. Love about Chaplaincy and thruhiking and that was fun!

Post Note

I don’t know if I have anything to say. Reading back on my journal is so cringe. I have no defense.

Jonathan is an incredible human being. My brother, a thoughtful, smart, kind, and unafraid human being. He’ll listen to you to see it just as it is. He’s also good at soccer and caring for people. He reads a lot. So do I. I think that’s cool! If you see Jonathan then know that he’s awesome.
